Windows 10: VSCode deleted itslef.

I have used VSCode for a year and a half now and I haven't encountered such a problem. when I try searching for it in the start menu, it doesn't show up, the shortcut on my taskbar has vanished, yet when I open the Microsoft Store, it says that the application is already installed on the device.Is there something I am missing or do I have to reinstall it completely?

Configure Visual Studio Code for Microsoft C++

I'm trying to use VS Code to compile and run c++ using these instructions. While completing this step

I can't get the c_cpp_properties.json file to open and I get the error:

 

English UK automatically adds itslef

I bought a keyboard from the UK, and since I plugged it in, everytime I run my PC the english UK automatically adds itslef on the language bar, and with the new update I can't delete it.

Changing my keyboard is out of the question, so any other solutions to delete the english UK once and forever?

 

Ignore special characters input to use shortcut in VSCode

Update- after posting the above question I did not do anything but the keyboard shortcut seems to be working again in vscode for some unknown reason, but still I want help regarding what steps need to be taken if someday vscode/my keyboard decides to not use the shortcut and give me ṇ

Also, on typing [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[N] in places which are not vscode, ṇ still gets printed

maybe that also needs to be fixed if possible.
