Windows 10: 'W' and '2' Keys not working at random. Laptop was damaged & repaired in the past, but...

As the title states, the W and 2 keys have stopped working correctly on my laptop. Sometimes they work as normal, others they're incapable of maintaining a held input, others they don't work at all. There doesn't appear to be anything under either key, but I'm hesitant to try removing them as I don't know if I can easily re-attach them on this model. My computer suffered electrical damage back in the spring, but thankfully it was still on warranty at the time. I took it back to the retailer and they sent if off and had it repaired. At the time no issue with anything but the motherboard was not

In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

 

Random Keys Not Working

After updating to Windows10, random keys on my keyboard(a normal, attached keyboard. I have a laptop) just don't work. The keys are the number two key, the number one key, and the space bar. If you're wondering how I'm typing this, I googled "one" or "two" and copied and pasted. Same with every space. I've never had this problem before, please help.
