Windows 10: W key does not work after holding either ctrl key

When I hold either one of the ctrl keys on my keyboard, the W key will not work, as in it won't type on the search bar. I tried changing the keyboard settings by setting New Zealand English as my language and now when I type w while holding the ctrl key anywhere in any edge browser it immediately closes, it does the same thing on file explorer but not on any other applications such as Spotify or task manager, on these it still just doesn't register.I have tried using another keyboard, but it does the same thing on any application I have. Both CTRL keys not working

Follow the steps below and check if that helps.

Method 1: To check if Ctrl keys work in Onscreen keyboard.

• Press Windows Key + R and type osk and hit Enter.

Try using Ctrl keys and check if that helps.

if you still face the issue, try Method 2.

Method 2: Run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with the Bluetooth adapter. Refer these steps:

  Press Windows key + X, select
  Control panel.

Just tried the STRG key and yes thats the Ctrl key! *Stick Out Tongue

Keys Not Working When Holding Q and W keys

Hi, when holding down the buttons Q and W in Fortnite, if I press the C key it'll build a wall but then when I press X, it won't register thereby not placing down a wall. The problem is not just with X and C keys; it's with all other keys as well as they
don't properly register when I'm holding down Q and W.

This has been the case since the day I bought the computer so it might be something to do with Windows. Any way to fix this?
