Windows 10: W10 1909 Build 18363.720

I learned long ago that using: Create a system image is safer than allowing Windows to setup the backup.


These days though, when I use Disk Cleanup to remove previous backups on my second internal backup drive, it breaks the older backup. When trying to create a new System Image the process stops with error messages. I found a registry edit at a reputable site that allows me to Reset Backup and Recovery and all things work just fine again.


I have plenty of storage space on my second drive and have decided to ONLY use Disk Cleanup to remove everything including temporary Windows Update files and Windows.old folder. No more using it to delete previous backups and restore points.


Anyone else experiencing this?


Please do not reply with an alternative backup program. Once you make the first System Image all future backups are super-fast. yes, I understand the process of "why" the proceeding backups are much faster.

Windows 10 Full Update 1909, 18363.657 Build 18363

Received notice, on my computer, that I needed to take the free update to windows 10 before my current version expired.

I updated, the whole OS on 02/23/2020. Specs:= 1909, 18363.657, Build 18363. I now CANNOT change my default browser identification. Microsoft Edge is set as default, surprise, and I can't seem to change it to anything else, e.g. Firefox

Suggestions???
