Windows 10: W10 1909 x64 ISO English and English-International downloads swapped?

Yesterday I downloaded several ISO files from https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-download/windows10 (if you download from a W10 OS you only get offered to use Media Creation Tool which you can circumvent by using a User Agent Switcher Extension and for instance select Mac OS).

Amongst others I downloades the x64 English and x64 English-International versions. When I today mounted the English version and started setup.exe from the virtual DVD drive to upgrade from 1803 it reported I was about to change my default language. I then noticed the name for the virtual DVD indicated it was the English-International version. When I ejected and mounted the English-International ISO it indicated to be the English (UK-gb) version.

It would appear these files have been swapped on the Microsoft Servers.

I simply went through the selection procedure for selecting the language and 32/64 bits version a few times and selected where to store it and the filename was automatically created. It isn't easy to cause such a swap on my side so I really suspect the problem to be on the Microsoft side.

This is of course very odd. Can someone check and reproduce this?

I haven't yet checked whether this issue also extends to the x32 versions and another language version I downloaded. Feel free to check any version and please report back. Also perhaps when you downloaded the ISO files.

I now als wonder where to find a list of verified checksums for these ISO files. It would seem very unlikely the Microsoft site could be hacked but better safe than sorry.

Windows 10 "English" or "International English" ?

I am trying to download Windows 10 ISO (November Update) from Tech-Bench (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/techbench). In the language option there are two different option "English" and "International English". I am from India, which
one should I choose?

What is the difference between English & International English? What is International English? Is it the UK/GB version of English? Which one is US version?

 

When downloading Win 10 iso, what's the difference between "English" or "International English"?

I live in the United States and want to download the Win 10 iso for a different computer than I'm using for the insider program. Usually it says English (USA) or English (British). The "English" or "International English" has me confused.

I've been researching into Windows 10 recently. On the .ISO download page, one of the choices to make is which language you want Windows to be in. There are two English choices: English and English International. I have tried to find information on the difference between these, but to no avail. What are your thoughts?
