Windows 10: W10 64 USB ISO onto SSD 2nd blank formatted partition 1st has W10 32

Need step by step please. I'm a non-tech novice at dual boot installation and very fearful of losing all my stuff yet again !! pc crash, backup failure.Brand new 450GB partitioned SSD. I clean-installed W10 32 on half of it, seems to work which left 220GB unallocated space. I've subsequently formatted this as NTFS via AOMEI, the computer allocated it drive letter E.I have 64bit ISO on USB via the MS tool. Following instructions elsewhere I booted from it, got to "choices" stage, repair or install, Suddenly realised that installation ISO hadn't indicated where it was going to install, s

Upgrading possible ? Dual boot (XP-32 / W7-64) to (XP-32 / W10-64)

Hi everybody,

I have a dual boot PC with Windows XP (32 bits) and Windows 7 (64 bits), both installed on a 500 Go SSD.

I have a 500 Go HDD for My documents, other data and games. Having two drives on a PC didn't cause any problem for upgrading W7 on another PC
but there was no other OS.

My 2nd PC is declared to be W10 compatible.

The active partition is the one with XP. So the one with W7 is
not active.

My two questions :

• Will the upgrade process be able to upgrade W7 even if it is not the active partition ?
• Will XP and the dual boot persist ?

Any experience with dual boot and W10 upgrading ?

 

Delete my W10 Partition

Hi, so i made a W7 Partition with W10 Partition. I was wondering IF this W7 doesn't BSOD on my Graphics Driver like W10 has, can i somehow delete the W10 Partition and Extend the W7 Partition? I know i would probably have to use the setup USB stick to repair the W7 Boot

My SYSTEM:

ZOTAC ZBOX-AD04 PLUS+4GB RAM+648GB HDD

 

System Reserved Partition W10 install problems

I have more than ample specs for W10 but the install continues to fail perhaps because I replaced the 2 hard drives with one Samsung SSD, which works great and runs W7 (64-bit) and all apps flawlessly.

None of the suggested fixes has helped and the partition tools suggested do not show the format as depicted in the examples (perhaps due to the one SSD?).

PC Magazine is reporting that Microsoft is preparing to push more people into upgrading to W10 through various means.

I am concerned about that as I seem unable to address the system reserved partition problem.
