    Hello everyone; During the time when we could download Window 10 free I ran it for almost 30 days and I do not remember having any issues. I did not create an ISO on a memory stick or DVD.


    My laptop is an Aspire 7740-5691, Intel i3 M330 quad core , 2.13 GHZ, 64 bit, 1 TB Seagate HD # ST1000LM014 – 1EJ164 ATA hybrid, 4 GB DDR3 RAM ( have sticks to change to 8 GB DDR3), Intel (R) HD on board graphics. Original HD was 320 GB. OS is W7 Home.


    Most of my concern is the on board graphics. The Microsoft information I’m reading for W10 requirements states you need a graphics card compatible with DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver. Will the on board graphics get the job done.


    The computer is used mostly for email, web surfing, some Word and small Excel spread sheets. Microsoft Home and Student 2010 is installed.

    My question is will my lap top run Windows 10 Home. I would appreciate any comments or suggestion you all may have.

    Acer confirmed the Aspire 5740G is not W10 compatible, so why do I get the W10 upgrade prompt?

    Acer and several users on forums have confirmed the Acer Aspire 5740G laptop is not Windows 10 compatible. So why do I get the W10 upgrade prompt?

    Is there a system for reporting incompatible devices, such as this laptop, to Microsoft?

    A few days ago my laptop upgrade to W10 (Acer Aspire V5-571G). Since the upgrade there are keys that do not work, I've tried to change the keyboard driver (PS2) but I can not. What can I do? Thanks in advance, Greetings.
