Windows 10: W10 keeps adding Us-En keyboard, how do i stop this from happening.

I only use French and Korean keyboard. But my computer keeps adding EN-US keyboard wich i dont need. I can't remove it from the keyboard language since it doesnt appear. how can i disable it and keep it from coming back?

Windows 10 keeps automatically adding EN-US keyboard.

However, Windows is being installed with the correct keyboard layout but somehow automatically adds EN-US.

I know that it can be fixed by going to the control panel, as shown in this thread: keyboard layout (United Kingdom) is automatically added.

However this does not tackle the root issue, which is: Why does Windows add the keyboard in the first place?

A solution for this is extremely handy in WDS/MDT/SCCM environments, where new PCs are being deployed all the time.

Hi,

To resolve your concern regarding keyboard layout, follow the steps below:

• Go to Control Panel.
• Click on Clock, Language, and Region.
• Select Region.
• Click on the Location tab.
• Under Home location, select Japan so that it won't add any English keyboard layout.
• Click Apply, and then OK.
• Restart your computer.

The extra keyboard layout keep adding to my language bar (with Pics)

The updated Windows 10 may have detected your language, the reason why it automatically gave you the other Thai US keyboard. To correct this issue, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Click on the Start Menu, type in region and language settings and select it.
• Under Languages, select Thai Kedmanee keyboard and click Remove.
• Lastly, add it back by clicking Add a language.

After these steps, your keyboard layout will permanently stay with Thai Kedmanee keyboard.
