Windows 10: W10 locked out. Not accepting pin or password.

Good afternoon. For 2 days I have tried everything the internet and YouTube has to offer to get into my W10 computer without success.For some reason my password is not being accepted. The pin neither - just the message "something has happened and pin is not available". Then on a locked screen it offers to take me to the App Store for an app????I checked with my Mac - password working. Skype working. Eventually I changed he password on Mac/Skype and also logged into my MS account with this new password. No problems but this new password does not work on my Lenovo computer W10. .I have managed,

Repairing startup on a W10 machne using a Hello PIN instead of a password

I need to repair the startup of a machine using W10 but all the advanced options offer me the (correct) username but then ask for a password for the account.

I used to use a password to log-in but - as suggested by Microsoft - I changed it to a Windows Hello PIN.

If I try to use the original password it isn't accepted and there doesn't appear to be any way to offer a Hello PIN instead.

Could anyone offer any suggestions please ?

 

Safe Mode won't accept correct password

I'm trying to run a third party software (AVG Internet Security) cleanup file that recommends Safe Mode. Yet, when I get to the Safe Mode lock screen, it won't accept my password (note that I am entering the password, not the PIN - it's the same password that gets me into my Microsoft account). Any suggestions what I should try? I'm hesitant to run the cleanup file in full Windows since it's not recommended.

 

DELL LAPTOP WILL NOT ACCEPT CORRWECT PIN OR PASSWORD AFTER CLEAN REBOOT

I searched fro an answer to "cannot change locked screen in windows 10 (with latest updates)". I have a DELL Inspiron laptop 15:1531, 64bit; 2.16hz. On a link, Microsoft said to do a "clean reboot"

I did this (mscondfig.--> System Configuration--> Services and Start up : Disable all.

I did these. But on re-start, W10 would not accept my PIN or password!

No matter what I did, it would not go pass "password" ---saying it does not recognize the pin or password. The pin/password I put in are correct. Basically, I'm locked out of my laptop after following Microsoft engineer's
solution.

HELP PLEAASE!!!!!!!
