    Hey all,
    So I have a client that uses the Windows 10 mail app to get her email through a POP account. The laptop is not the best unit, and she has 30k emails in her deleted items folder.
    Because of this, her Mail app gets extremely sluggish very quickly. I need to delete all emails in her Deleted Items folder without doing the 'select all' route because the app freezes for 10 minutes and then crashes trying to select all the email.
    Bulk-selecting them by doing Shift-Clicks has the same results.

    I've done searching online, and it looks like the Mail app stores its data in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Comms\Unistore\data unless I'm mistaken. In that folder is a lot of subfolders each with 5k .dat files that I assume corresponds to the emails, so I've no way of knowing which is the deleted items.



    Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

    Delete mails in Outlook but want to keep mails untouch in webmail

    When I deleted an email in outlook and my webmail got deleted too. I want to keep all the inbox mails from the webmail even I complete deleted in outlook. I spend hrs can't think it out how. Any step by step instruction? I'm using IMAP account btw. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

    Recovering a deleted email from the deleted items folder or Recycle Bin

    Thank you for the suggestion. The only message I find at the bottom of the message list in the deleted items folder is "To find older messages, use Search". My search did not work.

    Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.
