Windows 10: W10 pricing

Discus and support W10 pricing in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; My PC pretty much crashed and have decided to upgrade. Even though my W10 was legit and board identified; I guess Microsoft wouldn't accept this change... Discussion in 'Windows 10 Support' started by AllanP, May 14, 2018.

    My PC pretty much crashed and have decided to upgrade. Even though my W10 was legit and board identified; I guess Microsoft wouldn't accept this change and re key the W10 Home. to a new MB.

    Another question though. Amazon.ca has W10 Pro for $84.00 Canadian OEM. That price sure seems low and i'm wondering if it's legit. Any thoughts on that?

    What is the price of Windows 10 ? I know that the W7, W8, W8.1 existing users can get a free download for their PC - supported for the life of their machines. The question is, what is the cost/price/fee of W10 for (A) those who will not qualify for the
    "free" download or (B) for those buying/building a new PC in the future ? Will this be a 1-time cost to the user OR will it be a subscription ? Is MS going to a subscription based product? If it is a subscription, what is the fee for the user? One other question
    is, will W10 be free and the user pays a monthly fee to be advertisement free (I have seen that option talked about also)? To simplify... HOW MUCH ?
