Windows 10: W10 Pro - Settings keep forgetting I have installed the voice packs...

Hello. :


I have a problem that the installed speech voice packs keep disappearing from Settings/Time & Language/Speech.


I use Goldwave audio editor to make audio files using the voice packs, but every couple of days, they vanish from the settings page, and Goldwave can then no longer access any voice other then Zira - all the other voices are no longer available.





In Settings, all the voices are there in a drop-down list, BUT I cannot select anything other then Zira inside Goldwave.





The Installed language packs area is blank, even though I have installed and reinstalled the language packs about three times now.





So, yet again, I click on Add voices, and install the English voice packs for about the forth time now....





Now that they are showing there, Goldwave can see them and access the other voices





So, all that is working fine now, BUT the problem is that about two days later, all the voices are gone again, and they are not listed in Speech as in the 2nd last image above, rather the Speech window looks like 3rd last image above - they just vanish, so Goldwave cannot see them anymore.


I have NOT clicked them to uninstall them, Windows just gets rid of them for me, and I can't stop that from happening, and every time I want to use the voices again, I have to keep re-installing the English voice packs I want to use.


Can anyone explain to me why this is happening, and how you can stop it, cos it is becoming a real annoyance to have to keep reinstalling the speech packs that I have already installed before, just to get things to work. :


This PC is Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, clean install about two weeks ago.

Nokia Own Voice - Problem Loading Packs In App

I have an X6 and have uploaded/downloaded my own voice pack. I can see and have selected "own voice" in the list in Ovi maps, and have selected it. But its silent. The voice pack did paly back clearly when I made it.



Any suggestions?

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Japanese Language Pack cannot install. Computer is Surface Pro 3

To get a better clarity about the issue, please provide the details below:

• Do you receive any error message?
• Did you make any changes prior to the issue?

Meanwhile, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1:

• 
  Press Windows + I keys on the keyboard to open Settings menu.
  
• 
  Click on Time and language in settings window.
  
• 
  Click on Region and language from left navigation pane.
  
• 
  Click on Add a language (+ symbol)
  
• 
  Select Japanese language pack.
  
• Now, click on Japanese language pack and click on
  Set a default button under the Region and language from left navigation pane.

Step 2:

• 
  Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard, select
  Control panel.
  
• 
  Type Language in the search bar located at the top right corner of Control panel and click on language.
  
• 
  Click on the Japaneselanguage pack on the Language window.
  
• 
  Click on Download and install language pack button under
  Japanese
  language pack.
  
• 
  Enter the administrator password if prompted.
  
• 
  Click on Save button.
