Windows 10: [w10 Search Service is crazy ] It constantly Auto search every folders in explorer.exe

hi everyoneI have an updated and active w10drivers are updated already & so the win ... the search service is the problem . If I only disable it everything works "fine" but I need the searching feature regularly ... so why they don't fix this annoying thing ? in w7 you could just click on search box in explorer.exe and it would brings you the last 3 search keywords but my w10 don't show Anything I have to type them every single time ... this is definitely the explorer+search service issue ... Please any New Ideas ? thanks in advance

Quick Access not searching Pictures folder

Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

• I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.

• Then I tried to remove the Pictures folder with option one at Add or Remove Folders from This PC in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials. Even after rebooting, the Pictures folder remained.
• So I tried using option two. Same thing: reboot >> Pictures folder still there.

• Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.

That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.

 

Windows 10 Search doesn't include any *.EXE files

The .exe files in Windows 10 are classified as "applications" that's why the returned search results are not showing them as .exe files. You need to change the view settings of
File Explorer for you to be able to view them as .exe files. To do so, kindly follow these steps:

• Type file explorer on the search bar.
• Click on File Explorer.
• Click on View.
• Click on Options.
• Click on Change folder and search options.
• Click on View.
• Under Advanced settings, uncheck Hide extensions for known file types.
• Click on OK.

IE11 Google Toolbar no auto search suggestions, no search history?

Since the last Win 10 update my Google Toolbar won't list any search suggestions as I type and there is no search history listed. The Google tool bar will allow a search, but after a few searches no search history shows and no "clear search" button is listed either.

I have turnd on "Suggest searches as you type", and "store search histroy on my computer" in the Google Toolbar options.

Any suggestions to fix this?
