Windows 10: W10 Send To Device Has Disappeared

For a long time now I had a entry on my right click menu, that was "Send to device", I had to things listed, my sons computer, and my android phone. If I found a pic, or had a document I wanted on my phone, I clicked Send to device, selected my phone 0r my sons computer, and immediately it was on the other device. Then about 2 weeks ago it stopped working, I would click send to device, then phone, and all the right click menu would disappear just like it always had, but it never showed up on the phone. Now today, the option to click "Send To Device" is just no longer in the menu, it has just disappeared.


I've spent the last two weeks looking at both the pc and the phone trying to find the problem, but with it disappearing from the right click menu, I want to think it's in the pc. This is not the "cast to" or the "send to" and it's not the "share" and it's not the "chrome send to" function either, it's a separate "Send To Device" option I wish I had a screen shot, but seeing as it's not longer there. The bad part is it was there early this morning, I tried it just to see if it would work, but that's all I did. Then I walked away from the pc for a little while, when I came back I used the right click menu for something else and noticed it wasn't there.


I can't can't find instructions on this specific option, I find several other options, the one's I listed above. Can you suggest a fix, or direct me to some instructions or something that will help me?

Bluetooth Driver Disappears from Device Manager and Settings/Devices

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps

Method 1: Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Drive. Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter

You may follow the steps and check if it helps in resolving the issue, as the device might be hidden.

• Press Windows key + X.
• Click on Device Manager.
• Click on View.
• Click on Show Hidden Devices.
• Search for the Bluetooth device.
• Right click on the Bluetooth device and click
  uninstall.

Optical Drive Issue

Here's mine after I rt clk'd on my Documents Folder like you show in Scrsht 11:




I'd like to wait until you reply to my question in Scrsht 12, if it is a remnant of the process try deleting the one on the dsktp and see if the one in send to also disappears. If it stays in send to, test it, and if you're still having problems I'd suggest you could go back to: Option One: To Add or Remove Items in Send To context menu for Your Account (current user) and do Step 3 to remove it and start over using Step 4 but be very careful of your steps in creating the shortcut and be sure you d&d that shortcut to the send to part of the address.

How to factory reset Cisco 1700 Router

Hopefully I can help you here....its a very common thing to happen.


First, I take it you dont know the passwords for console access or telnet/ssh?

I will assume that these devices belong to you.

step 1. Plug a cisco console cable into a serial port on your pc
step 2. Plug other end into Cisco console port
step 3. Using hyperterm or putty or similar connect to the serial port
step 4. boot router, and make sure you clearly can see the output (this confirms you have good serial comms)
step 5. if this fails, adjust the comm port settings (9600, 8,1,n are the default)
step 6. now you have to do the only hard part...send the break command:

Break command list: Break Commands

Go down the list and match your OS and SW and try the sequence suggested.

If this fails several times do what I do: Install putty (free) and then to send a break so you can get into rommom just hit "ctrl-a b".
