Windows 10: W10 Taskbar clock is black and clicking it will not open the calendar - any help gratefully...

Good evening,I've searched high and low and tried every solution sfc / region reset / system clock on/off etc that has been on these forums but I still cannot get the clock to work and show the calendar when I click on it.As far as I can see, my settings are identical to my work PC where the clock is white and the calendar shows but I'm banging my head against a brick wall to get it to work here at home. When you click or double-click on the clock the blue loading circle shows for a second and then nothing happens.Are there any new and successful solutions please??Screenshot of the issue i

After W10 update my taskbar calendar does not open whe I click date

After an automatic W10 update, my taskbar calendar does not open when I click date.

I use the calendar on the taskbar quite a bit.

Need help.

Replace W10 Clock/Calendar with 3rd party program

What's missing is the *widget* that is the round clock that is displayed when adjusting clock time & the pop-up calendar that both would appear at the bottom right corner of the screen above the taskbar. A screenshot is hard to accomplish as both widgets (even tho they are not there) do not remain on the screen if one moves the cursor away from where they appear to take the desktop screenshot. This is w7 .....

Windows 10 calendar not showing when I click the clock from taskbar

I routinely use the popup calendar from the taskbar during everyday work. Upon rebooting my PC today (Win10: 1909 Build 18363.693) it appears that the calendar is no longer being triggered by left mouse clicks on the taskbar clock.

I have tried following the steps (described back in 2017) to resolve this by resetting the Region | Date and System Icons | Clock following a locked link (URL at the bottom of this thread) but it didn't work. Multiple reboots, along with following these
reset steps also didn't bring functionality back.

Please help!!
