Windows 10: W10 update 1903 freezes whilst executing

Discus and support W10 update 1903 freezes whilst executing in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I an having a big problem with my Acer Aspire M3970, orginally a Windows 7 computer.     W10 update 1903 freezes whilst executing


    I an having a big problem with my Acer Aspire M3970, orginally a Windows 7 computer. But 1,5 years ago I have had it renewed with the a new processor ( Intel Core i5-4460, a new motherboard and SSD memory.

    Until now all works "fine"....apart from the update to W10, version 1903 (now I have version 1809)

    Whilst upgrading to version 1903, all parts of this version are being downloaded, until 100%.

    After that I am being asked to restart the computer, so I do.

    And then, during installing this version, at 30% the system freeezes and I have manually to shut down the computer. After having waited 10 secs I start up the computer, it takes a couple of minutes and then, nothing changed, I still have the version 1809.
    I checked my system, no yellow or red signs. Driver Booster controlls my drivers so they are up to date.

    Below I copy the end of the Setupact, maybe this gives someone a clue what's going wrong.

    I really would appreciate that!!!.
    B.t.w. at some previous updates of Windows the same problems occurred but at other updates all went smoothly.

    Lenovo ThinkCentre E73, I have updated from W10 1809 to 1903 and the PC has now gone really slow and having issues with admin rights, I have chkdsk'd and scannow'd' but no issues found. Tried an inplace update in case windows was corrupted and get the
    message some hardware on this PC is incompatible with 1903 update. Can anyone shed any light in these issues please. I have had to revert to 1809 to make the PC usable again. Any suggestions please ? Microsoft have said Lenovo are responsible and Lenovo have
    said Microsoft is responsible, which does not help me one bit.
