W10: Update KB5032189 stucked installing at 73%. How to get rid of it? PC started/stopped tens of times.Troubleshooter says: restart and check windows update again. Task manager doesn't allow to stop the installation process.

w10 update stuck on "checking for updates"

I have a desktop running w10 pro that has windows update stuck on checking for updates. I left it on for 6 hours and it still is stuck. I tried to stop using net stop, but got an error saying the service could not be stopped. Services says the updater
is stopping, but seems to be stuck there also - cannot select stop. Any suggestions?

 

Is it ok to not update to (KB5032189)?

Hello, i have been delaying the windows update (KB5032189), because after the first time it installed my computer slowed down quite a lot, before the update my pc was running very fast, but after that one installation it became super slow, is it ok to not update to that?
