    W10 Upgrade Destroyed my RAID


    After my visit to a repair shop:-

    It turns out that there were three hard drives in addition to my OS SSD. One was D: (my active data), a second is RAID configured (not visible in Windows 'My Computer' as it is reserved for RAID if D: fails); and disk three E: another data disk.
    E: had died. I Iost some stuff but not important enough to warrant paying £00s for specialist recovery. I replaced E: with a 1TB cannibalised from a PC I'm not using.
    All's well that ends, kind of well.
