    W11 22H2 Add-VpnConnection 'UseWinlogonCredential' no longer works


    We use a VPN Connection for connectivity with our datacenter, see script below.This connection uses the parameter -UseWinlogonCredential Windows logon credentials are used automatically when connecting the VPN connection profile.After updating from Win11 21H2 to Win11 22H2, our VPN connection isn't allowed to use the above parameter.Because of this change all users are forced to enter their credentials in the login prompt.PowerShell script to create this VPN connection:$VPN_FromHome="VPN Datacenter"$_vpnDnsSuffix = "ad.local"$_vpnServerAddress="x.X.X.X"$_vpnPSK="mySecretPSK"Ad

    How to get the Windows 10 2022 Update version 22H2 Win Update

    If you can't install it from windows update you can try to install it manually, it's the same KB5015684 obtained with windows update.

    Windows 10 Version 22H2 is coming in October 2022 ---> KB5015684 Provides Quick Windows 10 22H2 Upgrade - Ed Tittel On the Ed Tittel page click on the links DeskModder.de or .MSU x64 version of the upgrade.

    Force upgrade from W10 pro to W11 Pro, without 22H2 build.

    Why Microsoft is forcing a 22H2 Windows 11 build when upgrading systems from Windows 10 21H2/22H2?
    We have almost 300 devices, and we need to upgrade them to 11, but we do not want the new build from 22H2 yet.
    Is there any way to get W11 upgrade using Windows Update, but with a 21H2 Build?

    Hey Dave, thanks for your answer!

    W11 22h2 has a lot more updates than the 21H2, that seems more stable.
    Our devices running W10 22H2 has way more updates compared to 21H2, we don't want that.
    Also, we don't use WSUS, we are a full remote company, so we need a way to minimize these non-wanted updates.

    Do you have any other suggestion? Maybe something with GPedit, locking the release upgrade to 21H2?
