Windows 10: W11 Cannot remove failed Security Intelligence Update for 'Microsoft Defender Antivirus -...

This failed update: 'Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 Version 1.417.248.0 - Current Channel Broad 'has long since been superceded and continually fails to install and it cannot be removed. I have tried what I have found on the net such as removing/renaming Windows update folders and the catroot2 folder and other but this seems to be a GUI issue more than a actual update.

hi,

i try to configure VDI update for windows defender..the definition file was unpack to file server ..i set the folder security to everyone. but the update still failed.

Windows update give me the following error: "Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 (Version 1.323.1916.0) - Error 0x80010108". I have tried some suggestions (see

here) for the same error but different version of the update, but it didn't help.
