Windows 10: W11 Lag when plugging in mouse/keyboard

I have a USB hub with a keyboard, mouse and headset that I regularly change between my work PC and my own W11 PC. I've had this practise for years, and it hasn't been an issue until W11. Rather than near instantly recognising the new device it's just a simple HMI driver? it instead takes 7-12 seconds to recognise and initialise the new devices. During this time there can even be freezing of some things on screen usually Idle games which are low CPU demand, so unsure why that would happenDuring the delay there is obviously no keyboard or mouse response, keyboard remains dark until the en

Logitech mouse and Keyboard issues

Thank you as well. I have no owned a corded mouse in 15 years or since they had wireless mice. Can I do the steps backwards, meaning do the keyboard first rather than the mouse since I will need a working mouse to do all this?

 

Wireless USB Keyboard and Mouse Lagging

I have a Dell laptop (Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz, 2.59 GHz, on Windows 11) that is hooked up to two monitors and a USB wireless Keyboard and Mouse. I've tried the Logitech Keyboard and Mouse, as well as, a Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse. They both have a lag every so often that makes working quite difficult. Either the keyboard freezes and won't type, or the mouse lags sporaditically. I've tried replacing batteries, restarting, checking for updates, etc. Since it's happening on both sets, I think it's safe to say it's something with the computer. Any suggestions to stop this from happening?
