  1. W11 - Messy Start Menu and No drag & drop between apps on the task bar

Hello Microsoft.I am highly appreciate your free upgrade of my W10 to W11. Thank you very much. I was very exciting when processing this upgrade. However, after the upgrade, I am very disappointed with these 2 things:1. Start menu now becomes a messy of stuffs, It no long grouped by "Office apps", "Productive apps" i.e. Notes, Paint, Snipping, Calculator..., "Browsing and Messenger apps", "Games apps"... etc. Please give me back my group. I do not want this messy anymore.2. I no longer can drag and drop files between opened windows on the taskbar, i.e. no longer to pick files in the Explore

    :)

    Start Menu

"You can drag and drop icons from the Apps list or Start Menu to the Task Bar or the Desktop" NOT MUCH USE IF MS HAS HIDDEN ALL APPS from the Start Menu.

Please : MAKE THINGS WORK & KEEP THEM SIMPLE

how to successfully pin files to the task bar

I use to be able to drag and drop files onto the task bar and they would reside withing the file list for that program. Since the recent upgrade it appears that I am not able to pin a file to the program on the task bar. Suggestions?

Problem pinning apps to the start menu

Not sure if this will help.

To add an item to the Start list, simply drag it into the Start list area. You can do this from within the Start menu of course, but you can also drag an item from the desktop or a File Explorer window: Just drag it onto the Start button first, and after the Start menu has opened you can drag it from there into the Start list.

What can you add to the Start list? Virtually anything. Documents and other files. Any folder. Desktop application, Modern app, or web app shortcuts.

You can also reorder the items in the Start list using drag-and-drop.
