Windows 10: W11 overheating on Matebook compared to W10

Discus and support W11 overheating on Matebook compared to W10 in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I'm running Matebook Pro X 2021 with i7 / 16 GB.     W11 overheating on Matebook compared to W10


    I'm running Matebook Pro X 2021 with i7 / 16 GB. Been noticing excessive heating with minor load like a translations application and a Youtube video. Never took place in Windows 10 except maybe some years ago before the updates kicked in? Can't remember really.. Task Manager is being constantly monitored and no suspicious activity has been noted. What can I do other than sfc /scannow, downgrading to W10 and praying to Lord? Is there a point trying to reset W11 from scratch, without keeping any files? The 10>11 upgrade has been made with file & app preservation. The performan

    CPU Overheating in Windows 11

    I'm not promising it will help you but try and disable indexing and see if that helps. There are a lot of people with indexing problems wince W11 and many complaining that indexing is causing high CPU usage and overheating.

    It worked for me. I have a Ace Helios 500 Gaming laptop and never had an issue with W10. With W11 the CPU would be 95c just browsing the net the whole system would sometimes shut down for protection.
