Discus and support w11 version 22H2 os build 22621.963. wont update to KB5020044 in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; tried to update manually to KB5020044 but says the update is not applicable to your computer. any help would be great...     tried to update manually to KB5020044 but says the update is not applicable to your computer. any help would be great

    Force upgrade from W10 pro to W11 Pro, without 22H2 build.

    Why Microsoft is forcing a 22H2 Windows 11 build when upgrading systems from Windows 10 21H2/22H2?
    We have almost 300 devices, and we need to upgrade them to 11, but we do not want the new build from 22H2 yet.
    Is there any way to get W11 upgrade using Windows Update, but with a 21H2 Build?

    No, not being eligible for the W11 is not the problem. None of my systems are eligible for W11 and 5 of the 6 updated to 22H2. They were all on the same 21H2 version, OS Build 19044.2130.

    Hey Dave, thanks for your answer!

    W11 22h2 has a lot more updates than the 21H2, that seems more stable.
    Our devices running W10 22H2 has way more updates compared to 21H2, we don't want that.
    Also, we don't use WSUS, we are a full remote company, so we need a way to minimize these non-wanted updates.

    Do you have any other suggestion? Maybe something with GPedit, locking the release upgrade to 21H2?
