Windows 10: W11 with Ultra wide WQHD on 3440 x 1440 resolution, refresh rate problems

Hi there!Recently I purchased new laptop and external monitor:- Dell Vostro 7620 i7-12700H, RTX 3050 Ti- AOC CU34G2X/BKLaptop came with W11 installed. When I connect my external monitor through HDMI 2.0 as extended main display it sets resolution to recommended, which is 3440x1440. Problem is that it has only option to choose 30 Hz refresh rate, so it runs on 3440x1440@30Hz. I can change resolution to 3440x2160@60Hz 4K but its scale makes it unusable - everything is stretched.Initially I thought that it could be related to cable or port itself but if I'm able to run this monitor with hig

About ultra-wide monitors seething

I have a laptop, installed windows 11 system, the laptop has two graphics cards, one is intel hd 630, the other is NV GF gtx1050, and both drivers are installed correctly. Recently I purchased an ultra-widescreen monitor (resolution 3440*1440), as an external monitor, how do I set, enable the discrete graphics card when using an external ultra-wide screen, and use the monitor's default resolution (3440*1440).

You could plug in your two 980 Ti in SLI but you'll be limited to DisplayPort 1.2 capabilities.

 

3840 x2160 resolution but no 3440 x 1440

I have a new 34 inch screen ultrawide and would like to connect my laptop to it. I would like to have 3440x1440 resolution but the max resolution is 3840 x2160 but no proposal for 3440 x 1440. What should I do?
