Windows 10: Wacatac virus

Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.H!mlThis virus was installed on my PC, I thought windows security had dealt with it after I performed several quick, full, and offline scans but 5 days later I discovered that my Gmail was compromised starting from the same day the virus was installed. Today I ran Microsoft defender, windows security, norton security, and windows safety scanner each with a full 90min scan twice! nothing came of it, but after reading up on this virus I'm growing rather paranoid that it may be difficult to detect or embedded deep within my system files or browser settings. Wacatac false positive outbreak?

I've noticed lately that windows defender starts to mark almost all my zip files as risky because they supposedly contain Wacatac. The interesting thing is that I can create a compressed file of images, videos or files without problems... There is no virus threat in any of the files that I am compressing. I even scan them again using VirusTotal.com(the uncompressed files and the zip file). I upload the zipped file to my drive(One drive or Google drive) to download it on another computer. And that's when it happens, Windows Defender prevents the download of the compressed file because of the Wacatac.H!ml virus alert. Is this a bug? or is it due to something else?

Note: just to prevent useless suggestions. i used microsoft safety scanner, i also did a complete scan with 2 different antivirus software and also used anti adware software. I don't have viruses.

Getting rid of viruses at times is difficult and takes many steps and time, but this is to ensure that the virus has been completely eliminated, I advise you to follow the guide explained in the link on how to get rid of the virus, and I suggest that after all these steps you do a clean install of Windows again to start from scratch without any problems in the system

Note a clean install will delete everything that’s on the computer, so backup your files

Wacatac trojan how can I make sure it's gone?

Wacatac is no longer in the detections history.

But what is the difference between a false positive and the actual virus showing up?

Does windows defender show wacatac in multiple scans?

Because is my case, it only showed up twice. In the first detection it showed up as soon an the file was downloaded and windows defender was unable to remove it. Once I ran a full scan, it showed up again, and took action to remove it successfully (as the antivirus claims). How can I be sure if it is a false positive or if it was real and left any kind of malicious software behind?

Again any help would be appreciated.
