Windows 10: Wacom Intous 3 driver on Windows 11?

Hi there, I see that the Wacom intous 3 driver is not listed to be compatible with windows 11 however will it work anyway if I just download it. I don't own windows 11 but will be upgrading soon however I can't afford a new PC and a new tablet. It's important that despite the forced upgrade I am still able to use my Intous 3 even if it's Abit buggy due to it not being properly supported. Has anyone tried the intous 3 driver on Windows 11.

Wacom Tablet and pen

I have a Wacom pad and mouse model Intous 3-PTZ430.

I have dowloaded devise driver for Windows 10 , and despite it being installed, MS's own driver keeps superseding it as a 'Mouse 'driver, The Wacom mouse does not work in that it is a very slow drag across the screen.

Windows is unable to recognise the 'Wacom' mouse, in its Device Drivere menu. Reinstalled abut 8 times.

I have RSI, so need to use the Wacom tablet.

 

Intuos 3 driver update for Windows 11?

Hi,

From what I know, the Wacom Intuos 3 works on Windows 10 but not 11.
Wacom has stated that the last support for this model is 10.
Is it possible on Microsoft's end to enable/update compatibility of driver from Win 10 to 11?

Or is this solely on Wacom's end?

Problem is, the tablet and stylus are detectable on Win 11 by default/USB plug-in.

However, when the driver is installed, the stylus becomes undetectable,
although Wacom tablet properties is accessible. (This is where we personalize the settings)

Updating the driver via Device manager also won't work.
Any suggestions? ^^" TIA

 

Wacom driver error 10 on Lenovo Miix 510

We appreciate you posting your concern here in the Community forum. In order to help you with your Wacom driver issue, kindly follow the steps suggested below:

1. Click the Start button from the bottom left portion of the screen.
2. Once the search field appear, type Services and press
   Enter.
3. In the Services window, scroll down to Wacom Professional Service.
4. Right-click the Wacom Professional Service and choose
   Start.

If the steps above doesn't help, you may try to uninstall and reinstall the Wacom driver without turning off or disabling the Windows firewall. You may also choose to rollback the Wacom driver if it is working correctly before. Use the following steps:

1. Press Windows + R on your keyboard.
2. Type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.
3. Expand the category you want and right click on the driver and select
   Properties.
4. Navigate to Driver tab and click on Roll Back Driver.
