    Wacom pen malfunctioned


    I just upgraded my Asus VivoTab Note 8 to 32-bit Windows 10 Home from Windows 8.1. Everything seems to work fine except the Wacom pen that is not working at all. The driver in device manager states working correctly. Can someone advise any possible or temporary fix. Thanks!

    Wacom Pen is not working

    Dear Lord,

    Following your advice, I downloaded the driver and installed it successfully.

    However, it did not change the malfunction of the Wacom Pen. Upon close examination, a ISO_DualTouch_720-10.exe was installed. When launched Wacom Pen program, it did not work at all - it worked before to show a configuration UI (the configuration might
    not be right for my pen since the pen was not working). It popped up a error message saying "The tablet driver is not running.". Under the Device Manager, the Wacom Device in HID showed Wacom 3.1.0.5 of 11/04/2014 (Digital Signer: Microsoft Windows Hardware
    Compatibility Publisher) driver installed. It looks it is the driver that was installed by Windows when upgraded to Windows 10.

    Didn't I do something after the installation? Or this driver is not suitable for my hardware?

    How can I get rid of this "press and hold for right click" now?

    I guess it is not Wacom's side, since the issue is still present after I uninstalled Wacom's driver and use the pen with stock windows pen driver and tried the pen. But I'll ask Wacom too and see if it can be fixed.

    Go through the device manager and make sure you are using proper Windows 10 drivers for all your hardware. Wacom do have Windows 10 drivers for download. Drivers | Wacom

    Dear Swarfega,

    Thanks for your advice. I am unsure if the driver is right or wrong as it states Wacom Device only and which driver is for my tablet in Wacom website as there is no reference to my brand and model.
