Windows 10: Wacom pen won't draw during extended display

i just got a cintiq pro 24 DTK2420K0 and i have a problem with the pen when when i have my monitors set to extended display with my samsung monitor set as my primary monitor. the pen can still be used as a cursor, but the brush circle thing that's part of my drawing program will not show up along with it and i can't use the pen to draw at all. when i bring my mouse cursor over however the circle will appear and i can draw with the mouse. if i go into the display settings and set my cintiq as my primary monitor the problem goes away and i can actually draw with my pen, but then that makes all my programs automatically open up on my cintiq instead of my samsung which is where i would rather them be which gets annoying. i tried googling and couldn't find any solutions to the particular problem im having. does anyone know how to fix this problem? basically, i just want to get my pen to actually work without having to have my cintiq set as my primary monitor

Wacom Pen for Cintiq 27QHD is not working with Paint Tool SAI 2 when display mode is set to extended!

I have mentioned in
this thread that I have problems with my P51 Lenovo laptop and my 27QHD Cintiq tablet when using PaintToolSAI 2. I have done almost everything I have found online but nothing helped.

I realized that my problem starts when I set my displays to 'Extend these displays.'

When it is set on 'Duplicate these displays' the pen is calibrated, works fine and draws fine. There is pressure and the pen is smooth. Since the Cintiq has a bigger screen than my laptop, the image is just copied from the laptop to the Cintiq in a bigger
version. ( Something like if you just resize an image )

As soon as I extend the displays, the pen doesn't detect any clicks and it is 'calibrated' to go over both screens whenever I move it around on my Cintiq. I have not fiddled with any additional settings for this.

I have also tried to fix the problem by enabling the AvoidWacomBug settings in the SAI2 configuration file but that didn't help. The problem sounds like my problem as well though:

Microsoft Maps 5.1609.2651.0 - Wacom pen no longer acts as cursor.

Thanks for suggestion. I've done that so if you also experience this problem Upvote the issue

in the feedback hub titled "I use a wacom pen. the latest version of Maps uses the pen as a pen and not a mouse. VERY annoying to draw lines when all I want to do is pan."

 

Wacom Pen Input Issue-Dual Monitor

Hi,

I'm an artist and I have dual monitor setup with a Cintiq 22HD Touch as my main and an LG as my secondary monitor.

I do my work on my art programs on the Cintiq while I have reference and such on the second monitor. I extend the displays.

The problem is that only recently, my pen input is off when I try to work. When I have both monitors up, my pen is on the second monitor when I try to draw or paint on Manga Studio or Photoshop. I calibrate it and although my pen is now within my Cintiq
screen, its still off by a few inches. I can calibrate it some more, but the problems remains. This only happens when I use my pen and have both monitors on.

If I turn off the second display, everything is back to normal. My pen is accurate again. But if I have both on, then the problem arises.

Its not really a fix to work with one monitor when I use references as I draw/paint. Previously, everything was fine too. I worked with dual monitors, references on my LG, drawing and painting on my Cintiq.

I've updated my PC and I've also tried removing my wacom drivers and installing the latest from the wacom support page, but it didn't fix anything.

Does anyone have the same problem? Anyone know a fix? Help is appreciated!
