Windows 10: Waiting for 2023 update.

On my Windows 11 Pro version, build 22H2 I still have not received the latest upgrade to 23H2. I've read that that upgrade is actually on the computer just needs to be enabled With an enablement tool. Where would I find this enablement feature?Is there any reason why I should not move to this Build?I would rather do the enablement as opposed to an installation since it sounds like there are more problems with installation than with just enabling.Thanks, Dan Egan

2023-05 Cumulative Update KB5026361 update failure 0x800f0831

Usual fix for that is an in-place upgrade repair install which keeps all progs and data like any 'upgrade' procedure. I seem to recall that was suggested in your previous thread. Tutorial available, and I've posted a 4 step short-form procedure many many times. Were you to search tenforums for 0x800f0831 you might find e.g.

 

Nothing works to fix issues for 2023-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5030211)

I have followed all the required steps necessary as suggested by Microsoft

Is there a problem with this update as of 9/15/2023?

I suggest you to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter and check if this helps. Follow the steps below to do the same:

• Press ‘Windows key on the keyboard.
• Type ‘Troubleshooting’, and press
  enter.
• Click on ‘System and Security'and select ‘Windows Update'.
• Then click on next to run the troubleshooter.
