Windows 10: Walking Dead New Frontier Achievements not unlcoking

So I have Walking dead New Frontier installed on my computer, I was playing through episode 1 and 2 just fine, then episode 3 the achievements stopped uncloking. I tried quitting and starting again however the game always starts at the beginning and even when starting a new game and getting to episode 3 the achievements are still not unlocking. I have tried resetting the app and uninstalling and installing again but nothing is working. I believe I have a corrupt save and even when I try to do a local save and overwrite it for some reason it always reverts back to the corrupt one even when I lick the "local newer" save.
