The 'living ' wallpapers are very very subtle.



They change to the nature of the network signal and battery strength etc.



Dont look for the wallpaper changing lots !

 

I have downloaded backgrounds but have no idea about which folder I should move them in order to get them on my desktop in slide-show mode.

Can't you resize them? They're bigger than 4k, don't want to edit them less than that as you lose a lot of quality, here's a photo i made resized to 4k:





original size 3.09Mb, new size is 125Kb

 

If you save them as a PNG, you can use this site! Worked for me in the past. *Smile

I can save them using photoshop, I made the images and edited them, I took the pictures lol, same file is 23Mb in PNG format: my watermarked version

Some image compression software can do a good job resizing image without losing much of the resolution. I use Advanced JPEG Compression and sometimes can reduce the size to 10% of the original.
Here's one of Jeff's image above that the original size is 1096Kb and is reduced to 103Kb. Can you tell the difference ? That is 90% compression.

lots of noise in the pictures and mosaicking, being a photographer, I notice little things like this, no offence.

 

No problem. Perhaps I am not a photographer and with a naked eyes, I think it is acceptable for a wallpaper unless you magnify it very large then you'll see noise.

Hi with photoshop you can see if Save for web does a better job ?
Keith uses it and it does loose some quality but not much,
I usually just turn down the save quality a bit so they just go under 999kg but jpeg's should be okay :/
Although png or gif might give them a little more clarity as Chuck said
Resizing from 24mg is a bugger though :/
Possibly @Barman58 might have a suggestion he's a camera super freak *Biggrin
