Windows 10: Wallpaper is present but in setting missing

Hi ,Wallpaper is present on my desktop but missing in setting also I had updated my pc still wallpaper is missing in settings

Desktop wallpaper for new users

Hi Alaa,

Setting default users lets you specify the wallpaper on user's desktops and prevents other users from changing the image or its presentation. You can check these steps on how to set wallpapers from all users:

• Type run on the search bar and press Enter.
• On the window, type gpedit.msc and click OK.
• Locate and click Administrative Templates.
• Select Desktop > Desktop > Desktop Wallpaper.
• Tick Enabled, and name your wallpaper.
• Select Apply and click OK.

After performing the steps above, you may restart your PC.

Wallpaper stretched after Presentation mode

My default wallpaper is set to "Fill" for fitting option, but when I activate and deactivate Presentation mode in Windows Mobility Center (it changes wallpaper to different one when in presentation mode) my wallpaper fitting option change to "Stretch" and
it is so bad looking. It drives me crazy always to change it manually.

I had the same problem in Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

Can somebody help with it?

 

Wallpaper setting reverts to Center when changing to new wallpaper

I understand that you are facing issues while setting up wallpaper on your PC. For further clarity on the issue, please respond to the questions below.

1. Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently?
   
2. Are you aware of any changes made to the PC prior to which you weren’t facing this issue?
   
3. Have you tried setting a wallpaper with lower resolution ratio?

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and see if that helps.



Method 1:



Try clearing the wallpaper cache and see if the issue persists.

1. Press Windows key + R. This will open
   Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for ‘Run’
   
2. In Run dialog box, type appdata and hit
   Enter.
   
3. Double-click on
   Roaming folder.
   
4. Now open Microsoft folder and then
   Windows folder.
   
5. Double-click on
   Themes folder.
   
6. Right click on TranscodedWallpaper and click on
   Delete.
   
7. Try setting the wallpaper again.

Create a new user account to isolate the issue related to user account corruption. Refer the article
