Windows 10: Wallpaper sometimes turn black windows 11 + blue screen

Hello, I have had this weird issue for a few weeks, my wallpaper turns black randomly. Sometimes if I right-click refresh, it reloads the wallpaper. Sometimes I have to restart windows explorer from task manager. On top of that, since this morning, I had 2 blue screens. - Win 11 updated- 64 Go RAM 4 sticks- Msi unify meg x570- Ryzen 5600x- Only ssds

Black screen on windows 11

Hi I have a similar issue. I have a surface pro 8, windows 11. The screen is black for a long time before login.

Normally:

• Turn on computer
  
• Screen with clock and scenic background
  
• Swipe screen up
  
• Camera turns on
  
• Face recognition
  
• Logs in
  

Now (since Nov 19):

• Turn on computer
  
• Black Screen with clock
  
• Swipe screen up
  
• Black Screen for 30 - 90 seconds, can see and move mouse cursor
  
• Camera might turn on and logs in or screen times out due to no activity
  
• Turn screen off//on by pressing the power button
  
• Camera might turn on or screen times out due to no activity
  
• at some point it logs in
  

This happens 100% on shutdown then power on. It happens a lot, but not always on restarts.

I have tried:

• turning it on and off
  
• rolling back updates
  
• factory reset from device
  
• factory reset from internet
  
• factory reset then installing all the updates
  
• factory reset then pause updates then uninstall updates
  

Anyone have any insights?

  Are you facing issues while trying to change the lock screen Wallpaper?

  Are you not able to choose the directory where the wallpapers has been saved?
  

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to restart the computer and check if you are able to successfully change the lock screen wallpaper.

  From Desktop, right click and select
  Personalize.
  
• 
  In Personalization window, click on
  Lock Screen in the left pane.

  And choose wallpaper you would like to apply for the lock screen by choosing the browse option.

  Close the Personalization window.
