Windows 10: Wampserver Not Automatically Updating

Hello to All,I installed the WAMPSERVER fix months ago almost two years and no issues.I am still using Windows 10 and last Windows Update was Oct 15, 2022. The weatherbit.io data via WAMPSERVER is not automatically updating the Sharper Image Unit. This is day 2 of no updated weather information from the server.Am I the only one having this issue? I am not sure how to troubleshoot and determine the cause. The green light is on the WAMPSERVER indicating it is online with the server, but no updates sent to the Sharper Image device.Any guidance would be appreciated.

# To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

Windows Defender blocks Wampserver

Ever since enabling Windows Defender on Windows 10 (version 1803 build 17134.112), Wampserver won't run. This after I enabled

Windows Defender > Virus & threat protection > Ransomware protection > Controlled folder access : On

I have excluded the entire folder where Wampserver is installed. I have also excluded the app (Wampserver). Yet, either the thee services won't run or localhost access is denied.

It is only after I set the controlled folder access to OFF that these services become available to me. How to address this problem?
