    Hi there

    would like to get a very high quality 4K monitor (>48 inch) that doesn't need a TV tuner but has at least 2 and preferably 3 HDMI inputs.

    Most of the high quality 4K stuff seems to be TV's that can double as a Monitor, or the large ones that are monitors only seem capable of 1080p at max res.

    Any recommendation.

    options for TV tuner users

    I use TV tuners and media center to watch and record live TV along with a
    large base of windows users.

    Media center app or equivalent is needed for windows 10 by a
    large amount of people for watching TV so
    don't neglect that Microsoft.

    Will there be a new type of media center coming or TV tuner app?

    1080p tv tuner

    well do you actually need to play it ON your PC or just through your monitor?

    simple conversion cables will allow it to work on your monitor. to play it through your pc you will need a video io card (tv tuner, certain vga cards) most ati have avivo which will allow you to input video ... though i haven't used it in years so the step by step idk
