Windows 10: Want onedrive gone but it continues to hang on

I went through steps to remove onedrive from my PC with win 10. First I closed it on the taskbar. Then I went to PC settings/apps and selected uninstall. I thought it worked because downloaded items that I same to desktop and previously went to onedrive/desktop were now transferred to the actual desktop. This morning I downloaded a file to the desktop yet could not find it. Lo and behold after looking on C:\user\name there it was. I cannot delete the folder yet it is not on taskbar nor does in show in Control Panel/programs or PC setting/Apps.How in the world to I get rid of this annoying thin

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

 

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Anyone know how to remove "OneDrive - For Business" from the Explorer navigation panel? I've tried just about every registry modification, and windows policy for "Onedrive" but they only seem to work for the consumer product, not for onedrive for business.

The onedrive product alone is so damn annoying and continues to load itself upon startup, even when it's explicitly remove from startup. It continues to automatically load and unload itself from within the startup folder... while I'm actively watching it load itself into the startup folder.
