Windows 10: want to cancel windows 11 update

You did not give me a choice on windows 11. I don't want it. I do not want to restart my computer and have it install. How do I cancel this? You wore me down with 8.1 to windows 10 on my last computer, and later found that computer was not compatible with windows 10. Then I couldn;'t go back. I DO NOT want that to happen to this new computer. I am nearly blind and I need a working computer, not some patched up job with no work arounds. Get this update off my machine.

  Cancel the Windows Update task form the task manager.
