Windows 10: want to delete photos on my iphone by displaying then deleting them using Windows 10 desktop

I used to connect my iPhone to computer then be able to see them in iTunes. From this display I was able to delete them from the phone.


Anybody know how to open pictures that are on the phone so they are displayed on the desktop then using simple delete command remove them from the phone?

Delete photos on Iphone using Windows 10

Hello,

Deleting photos using Windows 10 will be complex. Because, you have multiple albums with label APPLE101, APPLE102 and so on instead of actual album names.

I suggest you delete photos (even in bulk) using iPhone Photos app itself.

Will deleting photos on iPhone automatically delete photos imported on Windows 10 Photos App?

Windows 10 automatically synced all my iPhone photos onto the Photos Program on my Computer when connected through USB. I would like to delete/clear out some photos. If I delete photos on my iPhone will they also automatically delete on the imported Photos
file or do I have to also delete them again on the computer?

Deleting photos in Windows 10

- Are you using Photo app or other app?

If you are referring to Photo app, follow the below steps and check.

[*]1. In the Photos app, go to the folder with the files you want to delete.
[*]2. Do one of the following:

• If you’re looking at your list of photos and videos, swipe down on or right-click the files you want to delete. You can also tap or click
  Select all.
  
• If you open a photo or video, swipe up from the bottom or right-click to see the app commands.
  

3. Tap or click
Delete.

• 
  

You can also delete photos using the Camera app, the OneDrive app, or File Explorer.

The above steps are the only way to delete the photos.
