    Want to keep 60Hz even when plugged in


    my laptop is asus tuf a15 amd 8gb variant if I change to 144Hz my screen become all black and tearing so I want to keep 60Hz even when I plugged in and I can't find that options in setting hope you guys can help me out

    Why exactly is ATi considered be better at HDMI?

    I plug my HDMI cable into the card, then into my TV. Those are the steps that I have to do. All the steps you list make absolutely no sense to me.

    Flickering text on 4K @ 60Hz

    I would venture to guess that the it is not happening because it is actually at 30hz instead of 60hz. when you plug it into the other hdmi port and you don't realize it. Check to see if it is at 30hz because the issue doesn't happen at 30hz, only when
    i go in and change it to 60hz.

    I have done all of the above and when I plug my computer in with a fully charged battery the screen still goes black - I am on Windows 10 and my computer is 3 days old - HP Pavillion Laptop - I know there has got to be an easy answer for this Problem - Like
    a setting somewhere, but I am used to using my computer plugged in at all times and I think that it is stupid that I have to take out the battery to do this??? Any more suggestions??? :-(
