Want to make changes to Screen Shots

I was recently made aware of a way to do quick screen captures bypressing the Windows button, and then the PrtScr button. It createsa PNG image of what was on the screen and stores it in the Picturesfolder in a folder labeled Screenshots. Is there a way of adjusting this feature so that it creates the imagesin JPEG format instead of PNG? Also, could I have the images savedto a different location? Most apps have settings that allow things like these to be changed, but Ihavent noticed what app the Screen Shots feature is a part of.

    :)

  2. Screen Shot in Windows 10

    Hi Jeremy,

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.

To guide you in the right direction, I need more information from the computer by answering the following questions:

    • What exactly are you referring to?
    • Are you facing any kind of issues with Windows?
If you want to take a screen shot and save it as picture, I suggest you to check with the below steps.

To take a screen shot and save it as a picture

    • Click the window you want to capture. Press Alt+Print Screen by holding down the Alt key and then pressing the Print Screen key. The Print Screen key is near the upper-right corner of your keyboard. (Depending on the type of keyboard you have, the exact
key names on your keyboard may vary slightly.)
Note: You can take a screen shot of your entire desktop rather than just a single window by pressing the Print Screen key without holding down the Alt key.

    • Click Start, click Accessories, and then click
      Paint.

    • In the Paint window, click Edit, and then click
      Paste.

    • When the image appears in the Paint window, click File, and then click
      Save As.

    • In the Save As dialog box, in the File name box, type a name for the screen shot, and then click
      Save.

Please do get back to us with the answers to assist you better with issue you are facing.

Overclocking / Undervolting guide for Vega 56 or 64?

    Here's a quick laundry list:

List of software to use for overclocking and testing
    Examples:
Wattman (and how to find and use it, like an overview, including profiles)
Unigine Valley or Heaven (use this for quick testing while changing settings in Wattman and checking for stability / artifacts) ...just suggesting this
How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)

    Step-by step overclocking in Wattman
    Fan speeds
    Power limit
    Temp limit
    Voltages
    Core speeds
    Memory speeds

    Screen Shot Resolution

    Hi AndrewV20,

    Thank you for replying.

We have few suggestion for the issue.

    1. After doing Print Screen, copy it on
      Paint
and check if the image gets compressed.
    2. Please try Snipping Tool to take the screens shot and check if the image gets compressed.

As you are using Microsoft Word to save the picture, in that scenario you need to make some changes in Word application. Please refer the below link.
