Windows 10: Want to Subscribe to Ibis Paint without using a Microsoft Account

Hi - My son has been using Ibis Paint on this PC and we wish to purchase an annual subscription. When we try to purchase it, is says that we need to log into his Microsoft account to make the purchase. The Microsoft Office package on his computer is provided by his school, so it isn't a personal one where we can pay ourselves. Is there another way to purchase a subscription for this software? He loves it and would really like to sort this out. Thank you!

Why can't I download ibis paint?

I am so sorry to hear that you are having an issue installing the Ibis Paint app via the Microsoft Store. I would recommend following each step below to sort out this problem.

1. Make sure to download the latest Windows Update on your computer. Please go to SETTINGS > WINDOWS UPDATE > CHECK FOR UPDATES, then INSTALL if there are any.

2. Go to the Windows search bar, then type in Microsoft Store, then click it to launch. Next, click LIBRARY, then GET UPDATES.

3. Go to SETTINGS > APPS > INSTALLED APPS > search for Microsoft Store, then click three dots to open options > select ADVANCED OPTIONS > please scroll down until you see Reset, please click REPAIR, then relaunch the Microsoft Store app. If you are still able to download Ibis paint, click RESET.

can't download ibis paint

i just bought the microsoft surface laptop studio 2 and i can't seem to download ibis paint from the store. it says :

An error occurred. This app will be exited. Detail: Can't create the folder. [FU:createDirectory] Can't create a directory. error: Permission denied (13), path:C: Users\raish AppData\Local Templibis incl.

everything's new so i don't think there's any need to update yet there's an error.
