Windows 10: Wanted feature: folders with customized color / Background color

I think it would be nice to be able to change the color of individual folders/ folder background so as to quickly select them by color instead of name.


Does anyone know if this is possible in Win10?

Start Menu background color customize

Hi,

You can change the background color of the the Start menu on Settings. To do this, follow the steps below:

• Click the Windows logo (Start button).
• Click the gear icon (Settings).
• Choose Personalization.
• Select Colors.
• Under Show color on Start, taskbar, and action center, switch the slider to
  On.
• After switching the slider to On, you can now pick what color you want or you can click the
  Automatically pick an accent color from my background checkbox to make Windows pick the color that complements the color of your desktop background.

Start Menu background color customize

The background color of the Start button right click menu is one of the permanent designs of Windows 10. You can only change the background color of the task bar, Start menu, and Action Center. You can also change the background color of the title bar.

If you want the feature that will allow users to customize the color of the Start button right click menu to be added into Windows 10, we suggest you post this using the
Feedback hub application. You can easily access it by searching it using Cortana. Once you access the Feedback hub, you can post the features you want to be added in Windows 10.

These procedures not helped to change the background color of the start menu by (right click)





I want to change the black color to grey color as previous.

Please help.

Also previously right click will show the control panel, system, device manager etc. now it is not showing.
