Windows 10: Wanting to update my Windows 10 build 10240 PC, but still worried.

I really need to update Windows 10. I can't stand having no Bluetooth, no NET Framework latest versions, and no softwares to open that require the latest update.I really need some help, because I'm very stressed. I've been trying to not update my PC from the settings. I really can't deal with this. I don't know if I should uninstall the preview build, I don't know if it's able to upgrade since last time I did. It just didn't work, so I had to uninstall the update.This is pretty much because I'm using the Non-Core edition of Windows 10, and it's Education. I want to switch to Pro, Home or any o

How do I upgrade to Build 10240 from Build 10162?

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in Windows 10 Technical preview.

Build 10240 now available for Windows Insiders in Fast and Slow rings, Make sure you are logging in with Microsoft account to in order to receive the build 10240.

I suggest you to reboot the device and check if it finds Build 10240.

You may try to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter and check if Build 10240 is available. Follow these steps to run Windows Update
troubleshooter:

• 
  Press Windows key + W and type
  troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select View all on the top left corner.
  
• 
  Click Windows Update troubleshooter.
  
• 
  Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

Build 10240 - Any expiry on ACTIVATED versions??

I was going to do that for my benefit because of the way I have my partitions setup and to be legal with the EULA that isn't a step by step instruction. Right now I am waiting to see if build 10240 is actually the release build and yes I know at lot of people don't believe 10240 is the release version. I still may need to do that if build 10240 is not the release version.
