HiSearching i received the big flashing WARNING WARNING notice sirens telling me to call a number to unfreeze my systemLOCKED MY COMPUTER its ok nowi know its a scam my question how did it bypass windows security?Thank youTIMMY 2 TOES

What causes this on a website a big lock-up on-screen appears in red appears a warning and a talking notice to call a phone number to correct it
is it a virus


i reboot it goes away
what is the best defense for this will malware bytes work?

I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + R keys, opens the Run Command.
• Type inetcpl.cpl and hit Enter.
• Under General Tab, select Tabs.
• Select if the Warn me when closing the multiple tabs is
  checked.
