Windows 10: Was able to play mp3 files and video clips in Win7 File Explorer but I cannot do this in...

Upgrading from Win7 to Win10 has made using File Explorer exasperating, to say the least. I found OldNewExplorer on MSFN.org and it has helped restore the ease and logic and I can once again view pdfs without opening them that may have been enabled with new Power Toys. My children and grandchildren use Apple products and the only way I've ever been able to view the video clips they send was in File Explorer. I could also view clips saved from Ring Doorbell. I just want that simplicity back again.Before I downsized, I had an enormous collection of LP's, cassette tapes and cd's and converted

List \ Index video clips

Hello,
Trying to make an index list of my video clips in a folder, I copied the path of the folder in Explorer,
then pasted the folder path in the address bar of Chrome browser and presssd Enter,
got an html page, saved it as html file.
When I clicked on the file, it opened in 'Edge' browser, clicked on any link and the clip started playing.
But when I opened this index file in 'Chrome' browser, some clips started playing for a moment and froze, some played well.
In a large index, where there were large videos (file size), only sound was played' no video, in 'Edge' they played well, even the large files.
Any reason where is a problem.

groove music doesn't play mp3 files

When I double click a playlist file (.wpl) in File explorer, Groove music opens and starts playing the songs in the list (mp3 files). However, when I double click any mp3 file in File explorer, Groove music opens but it doesn't play the song.

Is this by design, or what?

 

Copying MP3 or video files from PC are not able to play in phone

Since i was already facing the problem regarding the duplicate instances of MP3 files in my WP8 so as suggested to me i have purchased another SD card and insert it into in my mobile and then connect the mobile to the PC and just copy and paste the MP3
and .MP4 video files to the default folders created in my SD card.After doing this when i start to play the music or video through the phone it is unable to play anything.Not even a single MP3 or .MP4 video files. It throws some error code. What the **** of
a buggy OS Microsoft corporation has developed.Does any one have any information about this issue or should i sell my mobile because this mobile is not even worth the money which we have paid.
