but for some reason i can't restore it, it is in the recycle bin but won't let me copy the new bootres.dll or restore the original.
All i did was change image of the logo, and it changed from 15 KB to 500 KB.
How i restore my bootres.dll file back?

    :)

  2. Windows phone bootres.dll replacement

    Hello,

I have a Windows phone running Windows 10 mobile. I have the phone in dev mode and have a few interop unlocks. I made a custom boot logo for the phone, and compiled it in the bootres.dll file for the phone. The problem is when I access Windows/BOOT on the
phone, I cannot delete & replace the bootres.dll file for the phone. It says that I do not have permission. How do I get permission do this? I am doing the replacing and deleting from connecting my phone to my pc and managing the files in file explorer. File
explorer gives me the warning message.

    Thanks

  3. Anyway to edit boot logo?

This link is a very safe method. It is about replacing the bootres.dll file. Even if you delete the file there is No Problem cause the only thing going if you don't do right is your logo. Go to this Youtube link:-
. If your logo gets spoilt or something just run sfc /scannow on Cmd promt Admin.
