    Was I duped?

I kept getting this notification saying my windows license will expire, so I called up windows support for the UAE and the guy asked for my mobile number. I believe the support number was 4 391 7700. After pressing a few ones and twos, I got to a support person. They told me to open windows powershell admin and type slmgr /ipk then what i think is a windows key. After this, he told me to type slmgr / then something short. I cant remember but is had like three letters and started with an x. i dont get the notification any more, but it seemed kind of strange. I dont know if ive watched too many scam videos or something, but typing stuff into that powershell lowkey felt off. Is this how microsoft officially helps or was this some sort of hacker/scammer?

    :)

  2. E72 Duped!

    Hi...

I bought an E72 from a store in UAE, but the salesman duped me and sold me a phone with a Yemeni Nokia Warranty instead of a UAE warranty :smileymad: .I came to know this when i went to give ma phone for repair 3 months after purchase and the Nokia Care
guys sent me back saying they wudn repair it cuz it didn have UAE warranty. Went back to the shop but they refused to exchange instead told me they would repair it...The issue with my phone is that the wifi does not work with my router when other friends of
mine comfortably use the same router for all sorts of phones.:smileysad:

What i want to know is..does me staying in UAE and carrying a yemeni phone actually affect the connectivity?:smileyindifferent:

PS: i do not want anyone to tell me to keep in mind next time before buying a phone cuz that is obvious i would or rather should.

Got duped. Asus strix 1080 gtx!

You think you got duped now, wait until you go though the RMA process with ASUS!
Absolutely, the worst customer service and support I've ever encountered.
