Windows 10: Was streaming The Matrix in 4K from C:\videos folder to my Sony AG9 (1 week old), went...

At the time it would still stream from those folders to my XBox, that as well as VLC on my tablet all no longer work. The com was next to me, on, with screens off, nothing changed on it. I've reset all items including the router. Win 10 did an update when I reset the com. I can still stream from D:\ to tablet, but Xbox and tv can't see the D drive to test it. It had worked perfectly for a week. Then, never again. I can still force the stream by right clicking on a vid in a C:\ folder using "cast to device". But this isn't how it should be working. Instead of showing the preview on the tv while highlighted, now it just shows a grey box for all vids, eventually becoming a camera emblem, still nothing playing if selected. Any help would be appreciated.

• Is this issue specific to Sony Handycam videos?
• Are you able to play other videos in your system?
• Did you try playing these videos in another Computer?

In order to update the video driver, I suggest you to follow the below steps.

a) Press Windows +X keys on the keyboard.

b) Select Device Manager.

c) Find and double-click on Display Adapter.

d) Below you find driver for Graphics, right-click and
Update driver software.

e) Follow the onscreen instructions to update the display drivers.

I suggest you to take a trace with WPR (it's a built in tool in Windows 10). And we can see exactly what's causing your video's glitches. Here is the steps;

• Open a command line as an Administrator;
• Type this command "wpr -start generalprofile -start CPU -start gpu -start video"; this will start trace recording.
• While recording the trace, try to work on your system (launch a video) for 1 or 2 minutes max.
• Then type this command to stop trace recording "wpr -stop C:\Temp\MyTrace.etl". Make sure the folder where you record the trace exist.
• Compress the resulting file ( VeryImportant)
• Share it through TransferNow or any other file sharing platform.
