    Ok, I can get past the right click, view more options BS and there are workarounds for this, shouldn't have to be but there are. Has anyone at Microsoft actually attempted to rename a file or folder? It's frakin painful and you hope that you go into the name filed box just right or it will revert back to the normal icon not the rename function or click into the folder, file, or image you are trying to rename.Thanks Microsoft! You basically soft bricked my $2000 XP laptop I use at home cause it is too frakin I want to use a different word here painful to frak with. I rename or copy and pa

    Bash on Windows

    I have the Bash shell setup on Windows 10 latest build and I have forgotten the sudo password how can I recover this and if needed how do I uninstall the bash shell as it is not listed in the remove programs list. I am not sure of the placement of this
    question so I posted it here. Please advise.

    Have you tried the steps listed here? Scroll down to "Run native Bash on Ubuntu on Windows" (you can ignore the fact that it's for an Insider Preview build; the steps are the same).
